Racism is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior. Most people have already understood that racism is such an unacceptable thing , it should’ve have ended decades ago , unfortunately some people still don’t believe in human rights and equality , which then led to the killing of George Floyd. George Floyd allegedly used a fake note inside a store in Minneapolis , although nothing has been proved , he was still arrested , people might believe that he did a crime so he deserves his life taken away , but because he was a black man , he was killed by Derek Chauvin by kneeling on his neck for almost 9 minutes . Racism should not exist in a year like 2020, nor should it have ever existed .Such cruelty and discrimination should come to an end.
Some might say all criminals deserve death penalty, for all the wrongs they have caused in our society, but at the same time some might say criminals are human too, they deserve to be punished, but not in such a cruel way .One or two people can’t change how the law works, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be heard. Before any innocent man gets decapitated or a thief gets away with robbery, there has to be certain procedures that won’t make society question if the law should even exist.
